A bit of back story here ~ In the spring of 2009 I was photographing Bridget & Michael Hawryluk’s Wedding. They had hired a band by the name of “Josh and the Empty Pockets” to entertain their guests for the night. Now if you know me at all I tend to have high standards when it comes to things like music, film and images (of course), so when this band started in on their set I was immediately blown away by their raw talent. Not only are they uber talented they are in the group of THE NICEST people I’ve worked with. Fast Forward to 2 weeks ago when the 2 leads of this ensemble asked me to photograph their Wedding Reception at Fitzgerald’s in Chicago. I just got their images online so I’ll be posting those soon, but I had to post this snippet from their closing duet. I was torn between shooting stills and filming it live. I managed to film a small bit for you to enjoy~
